Google has lots of updates which reduce rankings for low-quality site. Panda updates are designed to target pages that aren鈥檛 necessarily spam but aren鈥檛 great quality.
Panda released following updates:-
Panda 1.0 (aka the Farmer Update) on February 24th 2011- The main purpose of the update was to reduce the ranking of the websites that contained low quality links.
